In May 2022, as the mentor and coach of Team 488A, the only team representing China in the VEX World Championship online competition, I led the team to the finals with a perfect record in both the driving and autonomous periods of every qualification match. Although a small mistake in the semifinals led to a narrow defeat, the team was awarded the prestigious Amaze Award, which is given to teams with an undefeated record in both the driving and autonomous periods of the qualification rounds.
